I collect only what I need to answer you, hold your place at a performance, or send the emails you choose.

Who I am
I'm Aaron Hnatiw. I release music under my own name, with no business entity. My site is aaronhnatiw.music, also reached through dreaminglive.music and aaronhnatiwmusic.com.
What I collect
RSVP
I ask for your email, party size, and optionally your name to hold your place at a performance and send one confirmation.
Take-home recording notice
I ask for your email and chosen performance to send one notice when its recording is released. A separate, unchecked box lets you choose occasional news about new music and performances. The two choices are independent.
Newsletter
The newsletter box or form asks only for your email, for occasional news. An RSVP or message never signs you up.
Contact form
I ask for your name, email, category, and message so I can answer your enquiry.
Other information
I record each consent you give or withdraw: your choice, the wording version, time, and place on the site. A session cookie secures forms and my sign-in; it does not track you.
Form submissions create a keyed hash of your connection address, kept for hours to block abuse. The entry does not store the address itself. I use no analytics or tracking service.
Where it goes
DreamHost hosts my website, its database, and my email on servers in the United States. Its mail service delivers my emails; I use no separate email provider.
I do not sell your information or share it for marketing. Bandcamp purchases happen on Bandcamp under its own terms. My site never handles payment.
Emails and your choices
My emails include an unsubscribe link where one applies. Unsubscribing takes effect at once. Every email has my mailing address and contact details in its footer.
How long it is kept
- Recording notice signups: kept for 12 months after the recording becomes available.
- Newsletter subscriptions: kept while you are subscribed. 30 days after you unsubscribe, only your email address and the record that you unsubscribed are kept, so you are not added again.
- RSVPs: kept for 6 months after the performance.
- Contact messages: kept for 24 months after they are sent.
- Consent records: kept for 3 years after the consent is given or withdrawn.
- Records of emails sent: kept for 12 months after the email is sent or cancelled.
- Rate-limit entries: deleted within hours.
Privacy requests
To see, correct, or delete your information, email privacy@aaronhnatiw.music. I keep consent and unsubscribe records for the periods above.
If I want to use your information for a new purpose or share it with someone new, I will ask for your consent first.
Risk
The information I hold is limited to contact details, your choices, and any message you write. A breach would carry no real risk of significant harm.
Children
I do not knowingly collect information from children, and my Dreaming performances are listening experiences for adults only. If a child's information has been submitted, email privacy@aaronhnatiw.music and I will delete it.
